MUKAH: 10 agencies yesterday received grants from Mukah Member of Parliament, Dato Sri Muhammad Leo Toyad at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) office here yesterday.
The grants were presented by Balingian State Assemblyman, Abdul Yakub Arbi, on behalf of Toyad.
The recipients were Cheng Clan Mukah Division, Teachers’ Day Celebration Committee, Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM), Mukah Headmasters Council, Mukah Melanau Association, Balingian Welfare Organisation, Dalat Headmasters Council, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Mukah, Youth Federation Parliament, Council of Secondary School Principals and the Mukah Kaul Festival 2017 Committee.
Yakub said that Toyad was still attending the Parliament sitting in Kuala Lumpur.
