200 needy folk get ‘bubur lambuk’ from Raghad Foundation

KUCHING: A total of 200 needy folk received ‘bubur lambuk’ from the Raghad Foundation at Masjid Darussa’adah, Kampung Tabuan Melayu here.

Present to distribute the porridge on Tuesday (April 12) was the wife of the Head of State, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib, who is the founder and chairperson of the foundation.

The programme was organised in collaboration with the Al Manjie Foundation and was held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.

Raghad also presented goody bags, which were donated by other sponsors, to the needy.

Also present were Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Dr Hazland Abang Hipni and his wife Dayang Halimah Abang Paul, Kuching City South Council mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng, and Ragad Foundation chief executive officer Datuk Riffai Husain.
