KUCHING: An earth spill which occurred at San Raba on the Sri Aman-Engkilili Road was cleaned up by Sri Aman Fire and Rescue Department (BOMA) personnel last Tuesday.
According to a BOMBA spokesperson, after they received a distress call at 10.39pm, eight personnel were dispatched in a vehicle led by PBK II Chimiam Anak Duyu.
The earth spill was caused by an earth-laden lorry over a one kilometre stretch of the road which resulted in an accident between a pick-up truck and a cargo lorry.
“Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident. The traffic police unit also joined in the cleaning process,” said spokesperson.
