SRI AMAN: Simanggang State Assemblyman, Datuk Francis Harden yesterday launched the Sri Aman Division Neighbourhood Education Programme and Jom Ronda 2018 at the Kampung Sabu hall here

In his speech, Harden said communities should know the importance of  helping and safeguarding their  neighbours.

He said one of the steps to instil the awareness was by launching the Neighbourhood Security Education Programme and Jom Ronda in their areas.

Also present were Sarawak State Unity Department Director, Dirwana Haji Azool, Sri Aman Unity Officer, Ahmad Noorakmal Abdul Malek, Sri Aman National Drug Agency Officer, Pelly Robert and representatives of the departments here.

The programme featured dialogue sessions, patrol sessions and handing over of equipment and uniforms to members of  Kampung Temudok Atas  Voluntary Patrol Scheme (SRS), Taman Sentosa Indah Voluntary Patrol Scheme and   Kampung Entebar Undop Batu Lintang Voluntary Patrol Scheme.
