MIRI: A 42 year-old man suffered injuries to his head after his four-wheel-drive (4WD) veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
The accident occurred at Jalan Marina Bay, adjacent to the Wharf building here, early yesterday morning.
The driver, was on his way to his work place. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) Captain (PA) Usman Harto said his team received an emergency call at 6.36 am.
“At the crash scene, our personnel attended to the injured victim and applied cervical collar before rushing him to Miri Hospital,” he said.
The actual cause of the crash is not immediately known.
