KUCHING: Medan Niaga Satok is gearing up to host the ‘Semarak Syawal Agro Madani’ sale, organised by the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry in collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA).
Scheduled to take place from April 8 to 9, FAMA Sarawak invites locals to partake in this event from 6 am to 5 pm.
The sale, part of a nationwide initiative, aims to provide consumers with an opportunity to stock up on essentials for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
With a diverse range of activities planned, attendees can also look forward to a wide array of offerings.
Fresh beef and chicken will be available for purchase, with the added incentive of extra savings through RM5 and RM3 discount coupons, respectively.
Agro Madani products will also showcase the best of local agriculture, while a plentiful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables will cater to health-conscious shoppers.
Additionally, Agromas and entrepreneurial products will ensure a wide array of choices, catering to various tastes and preferences.
There will also be an online agro-bazaar for a convenient shopping experience.
Reflecting the nationwide effort, this event aims to support entrepreneurs during the festive period’s heightened demand.
Meanwhile, FAMA said in a statement that the “Semarak Syawal Agro Madani” sale will kick off nationwide starting today (April 3).
