BINTULU: Traders and visitors are reminded to always adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set while at the Ramadan Bazaar.

The reminder was voiced by Jepak assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip during the launching of the Bintulu Ramadan Bazaar 2023 at the Bintulu Central Ramadan Bazaar site yesterday afternoon.

He anticipated that the Ramadan bazaar this time would receive encouraging response from the public as it has not been organised for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, he also hoped that traders and visitors would engage in their buying and selling activities in a more organised and comfortable manner.

At the same time, Talib, who is also the Advisor for Jepak Jaya Development Sdn Bhd said that the activity could help and open up opportunities for small traders to generate income.

This year, the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) is providing two locations for the Ramadan bazaar, namely 61 lots at the parking lot of Bintulu Sentral (in front of Dinner World) and 59 lots at the Esplanade Bintulu.

Deputy chairman of the BDA Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan and BDA chief executive officer Muhammad Yakup Kari were also present.

Talib, together with Khaidar and Muhammad Yakup, cut the symbolic ribbon to launch the 2023 Bintulu Ramadan Bazaar at the Bintulu Sentral parking lot (in front of Dinner World).
