Answering the call of SGH blood bank for donor

KUCHING: The Youth Section of Kuching and Samarahan Pan Chern Liew Clan Association and Ghee Hua Co will be organising a blood donation campaign this Sunday (Oct 16).

It will be held at Batu Kawa E-Mart from 9am to 2pm.

The campaign is organised in response to the call by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for more blood supply to its blood bank as well as to create awareness among the public on the noble deed of saving lives through blood donation.

“The campaign is facilitated by the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section Sarawak, and it is supported by Scout 14th Kuching.

“We would like to appeal to those who have read or come to know of this campaign to spread it to their friends and relatives. Those who intend to donate their blood are encouraged to come early,” the organisers said in a statement today(Oct 12).

Each successful donor will walk away with various goodies as a token of appreciation.
