SARIKEI: A senior citizen here recently received an adjustable medical bed from Kuala Rajang assemblyman Datuk Len Talif Salleh.
The donation was handed over by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) women’s wing
chief to Salmah Abdullah, 66, who had been bedridden two months ago due to thigh and leg problems.
Said Salmah,“I can still get up but my movement is very limited. Previously, my children had to lift me so I could sit down but with this bed, everything became easier.”
This contribution was an effort to ease the burden of Salmah and her family.
Len, who is also Urban Development and Resources Assistant Minister, often helps those in need in his
constituency.
