BINTANGOR: Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii assured his constituents that his service centre is always ready to serve the people and address their issues.

Huang, who is also the Sarikei MP and Repok assemblyman, also pledged to do his best to serve the people despite his duties in Putrajaya.

He urged the community to maintain cooperation among each other regardless of race and religious background.

“Therefore, it is hoped that the community here could strengthen their relationships and work together towards achieving more development,” he said during his Hari Raya visit to several open houses here on Monday.

During the festivity, he has visited Kampung Darul Falah Sg Gemuan, Kampung Selemas, the residence of village chief Abdul Rahman Wasli, the residence of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Meradong branch deputy chief Samsawi Mohamad, and the residence of former PBB Meradong Youth branch chief Khairuddin Qalam Daud.

Additionally, he contributed funds to Kampung Darul Falah Sg Gemuan for them to carry out their annual activities, purchase fans, tables, chairs, asbestos, and for the construction of longhouse fences.

Apart from that, Huang also allocated funds to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Selemas and JKKK of Kampung Selemas Baru for their annual activities.

During his visit to Samsawi’s residence,he donated a total of 28 water tanks for the residents in the area.

At the same time, he stated he would assist with the construction of a car park in front of the mosque of Kampung Selemas Baru under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) 2024.
