KUCHING: The birth of a child is one of the greatest blessings a family can experience, and when it coincides with a festive season like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Gawai, Deepavali or Christmas, it becomes an even more special occasion.

The arrival of newborns during Aidilfitri is a cause for double celebration, blending the joy of Eid with the excitement of welcoming a new member into the family.

The babies are greeted with warmth and love, their births symbolising hope, renewal and blessings for the future.

At KPJ Specialist Hospital, three babies were born during the first day of Aidilfitri.

According to KPJ marketing communication executive Sharifah Aminah Syed Mohammed, the three babies consist of two baby girls and one baby boy. “Our staff and nurses presented gifts to the mothers.”

Meanwhile, at Sarawak General Hospital welcomed 17 babies on the first day of Aidilfitri, and 22 babies on the second day.

Ultimately, babies born during Aidilfitri symbolise the beauty of life and the blessings of family and community.
