BINTULU: Police here arrested multiple suspects involved in drug activities on Wednesday (May 11) and Thursday (May 12).
According to Bintulu OCPD Supt Batholomew Umpit, three local men and one foreigner were detained on May 11 in Pasar Lama, Tanjung Kidurong and Simpang Bakun.
“The suspects, aged between 23 and 43, were found to be involved in drug activities.
“Two suspects are investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 after being found carrying 1.02g and 0.8g of methamphetamine.
“The other two are being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the same Act.”
In another case, police arrested two local men in Pasar lama and Tanjung Kidurong on May 12.
The suspects, aged between 28 and 31, had in their possession 0.6g and 0.3g of methamphetamine.
Both are being investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
