SIMANGGANG: Sri Aman Hospital has received a donation comprising weighing scales, blood pressure monitors, containers and plastic drawers.

Director Dr Hazwani Mohd Yusop accepted the items on behalf of the hospital at Taman Harmoni Community Hall on Thursday (June 24).

Assistant Welfare and Community Wellbeing Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, who handed over the donation, said Taman Harmoni Community Hall had been renovated and being used as a Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC).

Harden, who is also Sri Aman Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) advisor, urged the public here to adhere to standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines set by the authorities, and register for the vaccine as soon as possible.

“Follow SOPs also, even if tou have been vaccinated. This is the new norm.”

Also present during the handover ceremony were Sri Aman District officer Mohd Ashree Wee, Sri Aman Divisional Health officer Dr Euphrasia Bari, Sri Aman Hospital deputy director Dr Sim Poh Ling, members of Sri Aman Public Works Department, and Ministry of Health.
