KUCHING: Firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya fire station yesterday helped to recover a body from the Sarawak River at Bintawa here.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre received a call for help at 12.50pm.
After recovering the body, the firefighters turned it over to the police for further action.
The body was believed to be that a man reported missing last Friday (Mar 20).
