Bottled water donated by NGO benefits four PPVs

KUCHING: Four vaccination centres (PPVs) in the city have received boxes of bottled water contributed by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) namely Team Dynamic Kuching on Saturday (July 3).

Jalan Masjid Health Clinic (Majma Hall) PPV, Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) PPV, Batu Kawa Health Clinic PPV each received 60 boxes of bottled water, while Tanah Puteh Health Clinic PPV received 20 boxes.

Team Dynamic Kuching leader Eric Tay said the contribution was a sign of concern and care for the frontliners on duty at the PPVs and vaccine recipients who are waiting for their turn to be inoculated.

“This is also our gesture of appreciation to the frontliners’ hard work and sacrifice during this pandemic,” he said.

Also present during the handing over of the donation at the respective PPVs were Senior Works Minister and Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok Division deputy chief Datuk Ibrahim Baki, PBB Satok Youth chief Cr Dzamaluddin Zainudin, Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Women chief Kho Teck Wan, Kuching City South Council (MBKS) deputy mayor Hilmi Othman, Team Dynamic Kuching deputy leader Jong Zhen Xiang and political secretary to the chief minister Tan Kai.
