KUCHING: The Mini Lab Mambong constituency for Greater Kuching Development Coordinated Agency (GKDCA) aims to spur and push ideas for the development of the constituency.

Sarawak Deputy Minister for Transport, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said throughout the two-day event, participants would engage with one another via groups to propose physical projects and programmes for the benefit of his constituents.

“In addition, I believe this lab is in preparation for the main lab that will be organised by GKDCA sometime next year to identify any project and programme to be approved by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.”

He also welcomed new ideas, proposals and even the “wildest yet logical ones” to develop his constituency.

Dr Jerip said told the media this after the launch of the event here on today (Dec 13).

Meanwhile, Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin felt that the mini lab was an outstanding initiative.

“It is actually very good to unearth all the ideas and to share and brainstorm, and on the other hand, this platform can be followed by the rest of the state constituencies later on.”
