KUCHING: Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus celebrated the graduation of 309 students at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching on Wednesday (April 17).

Technology Council Member, William Lye, who presided over the ceremony, called on graduates to contribute to leading Sarawak into a new era.

“Today, you join a special community of thousands of Swinburne alumni – innovators and creators who are helping to build a better world and who have asked themselves these same questions.

“Swinburne graduates are the kind of game changers that propel us forward and leave their mark on the world.

“At this pivotal moment in your life’s journey, I challenge you to consider how you can contribute to building a better world, just like our founders George and Ethel Swinburne did over 100 years ago,” he said.
