KUCHING: It is important for Muslims in Sarawak to embrace the true essence of Aidilfitri.
Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS), Datuk Abdullah Saidol, said this is particularly important for those celebrating in their hometowns surrounded by family, relatives and friends while remembering those less fortunate or caught in conflict zones.
“May peace and tranquillity envelop those in needs, and may love and safety guard all facing the adversities of life. I pray for everyone’s safe travels, optimal health, and enduring spirit and intellect for ongoing service and contribution,” he said in his Hari Raya message.
