Chance to meet Liverpool legends this weekend

KUALA LUMPUR: Liverpool Fans Club (LFC) in Malaysia will be able to enjoy and experience a whole host of activities and even meet with their LFC heroes – Jason McAteer, Sami Hyypia and
Steve McManaman, over this  weekend.

There will also be chances to win tickets to come face to face with the fan favourites during special meet and greet sessions with the three  Liverpool legends,  at the LFC World Hub at One Utama Shopping Centre.

“For Reds in Malaysia, LFC World Kuala Lumpur is the place to be. We know not all our fans can make it to Anfield, so this is our way of bringing Anfield  closer to them. We can’t wait to meet the fans, it’s going to be fantastic weekend,” said Hyypia the preview session of the event  at LFC World Hub here  yesterday.

Within the Hub, Liverpool’s fan would be able to have their very own taste of Anfield with recreations of iconic locations such as Shankly Gates, ‘This is Anfield’ sign and LFC World’s very own version of special Anfield dressing room, where fans can sit under the shirts of their favourite LFC players – Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Virgil Van Dijk and Roberto Firmino.

There will be lots of fun activities for fans to take part in throughout the event and special prizes or giveaways provided. 

Fans also will have a chance to share the Anfield atmosphere at a free-to-attend viewing party on Sunday at the LFC World Hub. 

It will be live on-stage activity with LFC legends prior to the match against Cardiff City, which will kick off at 11pm. 

In its third season, LFC World presented by Standard Chartered has already visited nine locations across the globe, bringing a truly authentic LFC experience to thousands of Reds. 

Meanwhile, commenting on the Liverpool achievement to win the English Premier League (EPL) title,  McAteer said that he hoped that Liverpool would collect a total of 97 points to remain on top after finished all the 38 matches this season.

After the 34 matches, Liverpool FC topped the League with a total of  85 points. Manchester City is the biggest challenger with a total of 83 points to battle for the EPL title. – Bernama
