Collaboration vital for success of football programmes, clubs reminded

MUKAH: Clubs have been urged to maintain strong relationships with each other to ensure the success of football programmes.
Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine also stressed the significant role that football referees clubs play in these endeavours.
“Besides the organisers of football competitions, referees also hold a vital position. The cooperation between organisers and referees is pivotal for the seamless execution of tournaments.”
He was speaking at the Mukah Referees Club dinner here recently. Royston commended the active involvement of football clubs in organising sports activities.
Furthermore, he lauded the recent partnership between the Mukah Football Association and the local referees for the under-20 football competition. He also expressed enthusiasm about potential collaborations in various football sports like futsal and street soccer as well as other outdoor and community activities.
Royston affirmed his readiness to share ideas and resources for the successful implementation of forthcoming programmes. Also present at the event was Football Association of Sarawak deputy president Khairul Anuar Adeni, who is also the president of the Mukah Football Association.
