The CBS 2.0 Plan sets the course towards realising a clean, beautiful and safe city by 2023 with the target to increase the CBS index to 80 per cent by 2023.

This enhancement plan calls on the citizens to rise to the challenge of transforming the community to create a sustainable urban environment for the future generations.

The second version of the plan (2019-2023) is the continuation of the first 5-year plan (2013-2017) where it was formulated to incorporate the annual strategic plans by taking an integrated approach in promoting sustainable development, empowering the community, taking recognition that environment, economy, society and culture are intertwined.

The goal of this plan is to provide a conceptual framework to transform Kuching City into one of the cleanest, most beautiful and safest cities in Malaysia within the next five years.
