BINTULU: Bintulu-Tatau Sarawak Federation of Women Institutes (PPWS) held an Aidilfitri dinner and gathering for its members at a hotel in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of PPWS on Friday night (May 27).

The event featured performances and singing competitions, dances and lucky draws.

Bintulu-Tatau PPWS chairman, Rosiah Dahlan, said in her speech that besides strengthening the friendship and friendly bonds between each other, the programme was also in appreciation of the services of PPWS members.

The selection of the theme “Catalyst for a Dynamic Community” for the ceremony was very timely to raise public awareness of the role of PPWS in the lives of women and families and community development, said Rosiah.
