MIRI: A two-man gang dubbed “Gang Pujut Boy” was apprehended yesterday afternoon for their alleged involvement in stealing a fixie-bike (fixed-gear bicycle) from a house in Pujut 5 worth RM800 earlier that day.
The bicycle was reported missing by its owner, aged 51, yesterday at 3am.
The owner also made a post on social media on his missing bicycle, seeking help from the public.
Less than 12 hours after the bicycle was reported missing, it was spotted at Pujut Corner, with two men riding it.
Residents’ committee (RC) patrolling crews were immediately alerted on the discovery.
They apprehended the men and handed them over to the police for further action.
