Educational devt agenda in Petra Jaya prioritised

KUCHING: The educational development agenda in Petra Jaya constituency is always prioritised to ensure the future generations are equipped with knowledge and skills.

Petra Jaya incumbent MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said at both the parliamentary and state assembly level, educational development agenda is heavily emphasised as part of efforts in contributing to nation building.

“At the state assembly level, Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman is always on the ground and engaging with the schools in the constituency.

“The school is also the place where the students; good characteristics and personalities are shaped.

“This is important for them to move forward and at the same, contributing to the development of Sarawak in the future,” he said to reporters after flagging off the M7 Puzzle Run at SJK Chung Hua Batu 7 Matang, today.

He also pointed out several allocations had been put aside in order to improve and add more facilities to the school.

“I’ve been made to understand that the demand for school admissions in this area is increasing.

“Aside from the Chinese students, there are also many Bumiputera students enrolling in this school,” he said.

The fun run is among one of the fundraising activities for the school.

Also present at the programme were Fazzrudin and political secretary to the Sarawak Premier Tan Kai.
