MIRI: An unoccupied house at Jalan Lusut 2 in Taman Tunku caught fire yesterday afternoon.

Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said they received a distress call at 1.38pm. Firefighters were later despatched to the scene.

However, upon their arrival around 1.53pm, the fire had destroyed 90 per cent of the house.

No injuries were reported and the operation ended at 2.31pm.

As at press time, the actual cause of the incident has yet to be determined.
