ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd continues 30-year sponsorship for Kuching Festival Food Fair

KUCHING: ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Magnum 4D, has once again shown its support by providing a sponsorship of RM45,000 to the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) for the upcoming Kuching Festival Food Fair 2023.

The mock cheque was presented by Liew Kee Chuan, vice-president and regional head of ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, to Datuk Wee Hong Seng, the mayor of MBKS, at the council’s office on Thursday (July 13).

Wee expressed his appreciation for the continuous support of ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, which marks their 30th year of sponsorship for the festival.

“This contribution aims to create a better environment for the people of Kuching during the festival, which will feature over 330 food stalls and 95 indoor trade fair stalls this year.

“In addition to a diverse range of food stalls, the festival will also showcase a special section dedicated to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for Gastronomy, as well as stalls offering home-cooked delicious food and more,” he stated.

The festival is scheduled to take place from July 28 to Aug 20 at Dewan Masyarakat, Jalan Padungan. It has become an eagerly anticipated celebration that attracts visitors and residents alike, providing an opportunity to indulge in the diverse culinary offerings and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Kuching’s food culture.

Wee expressed his gratitude to ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for their generous sponsorship.

Among those present at the mock cheque handover were Mok Chuang Ping, the organising chairman of Kuching Festival Food Fair 2023, deputy chairman Chai Ju Look, and Joenn Goh, the business development manager of ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
