SARIKEI: Several important projects are in the pipeline for the Parit Bugis, Bukit Huang, and Muara Payang in the Kuala Rajang constituency, which expected to have a huge impact on the local community’s social and economic development.
Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS), Datuk Abdullah Saidol, announced that the projects also include plans for the longhouses in Semaring within the Semop constituency.
“Specifically, there are plans to construct a 600-meter bridge across Batang Rajang,” said Abdullah during the Gawai Programme at Rh Gelayan Japeng, Semaring today (June 18).
Abdullah hoped that these projects will establish road connections among all these areas and enhance accessibility and improve transportation for the communities.
He also mentioned that smaller-scale projects will be carried out based on the needs and requests of the local residents.
As part of the celebration, Abdullah made contributions to every longhouse in the Semop constituency through the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of each longhouse.
