KUCHING: The wife of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, Datin Seri Feona Sim @ Norjanah has passed away this evening.
Feona, 70, breathed her last at the Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) here at 6pm.
According to Wan Junaidi’s press secretary, she passed away due to internal bleeding.
The late Feona remains has been brought to Wan Junaidi’s residence here on the same night, and the funeral prayer for the late Feona will be held on Saturday (May 28), 9am.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to attend the funeral prayers.
She will then be laid to rest mirziamov at the Samariang Muslim Cemetery on Saturday (May 28) at 10am.
Feona married to Wan Junaidi in 1972 at the Rumah Sarawak, the residence of the late Tun Datuk Patinggi Abdul Rahman Ya’kub.
They have three children namely Sharifah Fariah, 49; Sharifah Nong-Jasmani,38;and Sharifah Nuril Barieyah, 29.
