KUCHING: A family of seven was left homeless in a fire at Taman Mesra, Jalan Bako here yesterday (June 6)
The Tabuan Jaya Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) which was alerted to the fire at 9.55 pm, wasted no time in despatching a team to the scene.
By the time the firefighters arrived, the single-storey house was fully engulfed in flames.
“A team from the Kampung Bako Fire and Rescue Department was also at the scene to help fight the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring houses.
“The fire was extinguished at 12.20 am,” Bomba said in a statement.
