KUCHING: No job is neither too big nor too small for firefighters of Tabuan Jaya station here as they rescued three puppies believed to have fallen into a drain on Sunday (Feb 6).

The fire station received an emergency call around 7.30am and despatched four of their men to Lorong Lapangan Terbang 2 to rescue the stray puppies.

Sarawak Fire Department assistant director of operations Henderi Ardimanshah when contacted said the team found the puppies soaking in drain water after they were believed to have fallen into the two-metre deep drain.

The men quickly jumped into the drain and brought the puppies out and to safety.

He added that the three puppies were brought to the veterinary clinic for further action.
