KUCHING: Five houses in Kampung Sourabaya Ulu, here, were engulfed in a fire this morning.
A spokesman for the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre said a distress call was received at 7.50 am before a fire-engine from the Petra Jaya fire station was send to the scene.
“Three houses were completely razed by the blaze while two homes suffered 40 per cent damage.
“No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation,” he said. – Bernama
