KUCHING: Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof urged hawkers participating in the Ramadan bazaar in the area to abide with the ‘Clean as You Go’ concept when conducting their businesses in this holy month.

Fadillah said this while initiating various Ramadan bazaars held in Petra Jaya, yesterday.

Aside from making profit, he also advised hawkers to focus more on the teachings of Islam.

“In business, there’s profit and loss and despite that, the bazaar hawkers need to understand that their priority is not in terms of gaining profit but also to adhere to the Islamic teachings during the holy month,” he said during an opening ceremony at the Mini Metro City Ramadan Bazaar.
