SIMANGGANG: An allocation of RM15,000 was presented to Pertubuhan Meninggikan Akhlah Che Chuan Khor Sri Aman on Saturday morning (July 11).
Community Well Being Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis personally presented the allocation to the association during a Blood Donation campaign held at the association’s premises in Simanggang Town.
Francis who is also the Simanggang assemblyman was greeted upon arrival by the association’s chairman Temenggong Kueh Aik Seng at about 9am.
He was later ushered to visit several counters that offered health services during the campaign such as Sri Aman dental clinic, health screening counter and blood bank counter.
Francis then presented a cheque for RM5,000 to the association, which was in addition to a previous allocation of RM5,000.
Pertubuhan Meninggikan Akhlak Che Chuan Khor Sri Aman Youth Movement also received a RM5,000 allocation. This brought the total of allocation received by the association to RM15,000.
