TANJUNG MANIS: The Free Health Screening Tour Programme held here is a state government initiative to help the B40 group get free health screening.

According to the statement by UKAS, Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Datuk Len Talif Salleh stated that the tour programme provides services such as blood pressure screening, eye tests, blood and urine tests, BMI as well as physical examinations.

“This Free Health Screening Tour Programme is organised by Benchmark Health together with the Sarawak government and the Pertubuhan Belia Kebangsaan Bersatu Sarawak (Saberkas) in collaboration with the Kuala Rajang and the Tanjong Manis Parliament Service Centre,” he said.

He said this when he went for a walkabout to the Rumah Mut Bohom in Kampung Stalon while also visiting the Sarawakku Sihat Programme, the Free Health Screening Tour and meeting the people at the longhouse together with Tanjong Manis Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate Yusuf Abd Wahab on Saturday (Nov 12).
