MIRI: A representative of the Malaysian Red Crescent Miri Chapter (MRCS) and several organisations in Miri received a capital injection of RM149,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) funds.
Minister of Transport Datuk Lee Kim Shin presented the funds to 16 non-governmental organisations at the Sarawak People’s Party (SUPP) Senadin branch yesterday (Oct 2).
The recipients are expected to utilise the funds for organising programmes and activities beneficial to the public and government.
