DALAT: The Dalat Riverfront gazebo here has been given a facelift after the completion of an impressive mural on it last year.
Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) walikota Kadir Jamil revealed that the mural was done by 20 UiTM Mukah Campus students in October last year.
He added that it was done in collaboration with MDDM with the council providing the paint while the students did the painting, including on the walls of a public toilet next to the gazebo.
“They finished the mural in one day only,” he told reporters after the official opening of the gazebo mural at Dalat Riverfront here yesterday.
Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib officiated at the event.
Kadir added that the gazebo was completed in 2009 and is an integral part of the existing first phase of Dalat Riverfront.
Deputy MDDM walikota, councillor Jay Keram and other councillors also attended the event.
