Goh wins second term as SUPP Satok chief

KUCHING: Goh Leng Yeu has been returned as the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Satok branch chairman.

According to the statement on Monday (Apr 25), he was given a second term during the Triennial General Meeting held at Dewan Bunga Sri Rampai on Sunday (Apr 25).

Goh pointed out that the current pandemic situation that has lasted for more than two years has disrupted all lives, raised inflation level, and reduced mobility causing many difficulties to all Sarawakians.

“Due to this, the Satok branch has obtained a new mandate, and is looking forward to working with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) to further improve the socio-economics and welfare of the people within the Satok constituency,” he said.

The TGM also elected Professor Dr Hamsawi Sani as its deputy chairman for a second term while Melvin Wee, Shankar Ram, Simon Lau, and Roger Ting were elected as vice chairmen.

It added that the Secretary post is held by Dominic Chong, and the Treasurer post held by Alvin Sia while the women head post is held by Pauline Gan and its Youth head is held by Ramsay Voon.
