Students from the Teachers Education Institute (IPG) are not eligible for the eBeliaRahmah initiative as they already receive a monthly living allowance of RM450, according to Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
The Deputy Finance Minister clarified that the claim suggesting IPG students were excluded from receiving eBeliaRahmah benefits is untrue.
“Unlike youth aged 18 to 20 and students from higher learning institutions (IPT), IPG students receive a monthly allowance of RM450,” he stated.
He emphasised that politicians making such accusations should verify the facts regarding IPG students.
