BINTULU: Utility and Telecommunication Minister Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi visited Samadang Jaya Village situated along Bintulu Coastal Road yesterday (Nov 2).
In a Facebook post, he said the purpose of the visit was to assess and monitor the latest developments related to utilities and telecommunications in the area.
Julaihi, who is the Sebuyau assemblyman, said this approach was crucial to ensuring that utility infrastructure, such as water and electricity supply, as well as telecommunications networks, were functioning effectively to meet the needs of the local residents.
As such, he stated that various measures could be taken to improve and enhance the provision of utilities and telecommunications in the area.
Utility and Telecommunication Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, ministry’s Permanent Secretary Jafri Lias, Special Officer to the Premier Datuk Bujang Helmi Hazmi, village head Faizal Bojeng, and members of the Kampung Samadang Jaya committee also joined Julaihi during the visit.
