KUCHING: Juma’ani Pavilion has launched its own brand of Raya clothes at a price of below RM200 per pair in conjunction with this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Centre for Excellence Technology Sarawak (CENTEXS) Commercial general manager Shahren Yusri said among the collections offered were baju melayu and baju kurung including for girls.

According to him, for the Raya clothes last year, Juma’ani Pavilion collaborated with an outside company, the Bulan Bintang brand.

“However, this year we are taking a step forward by producing our own brand products and at the same time presenting the Raya Series Premium By Juma’ani.

“This Raya collection, we are also offering at a price below RM200 a pair, which includes baju kurung and baju melayu priced at RM150, some at RM169 and girls’ raya clothes at RM129,” he said after the Raya Series Premium By Juma’ani event at Juma’ani Pavilion here Sunday.

He added that they released five designs of the series with different patterns and colours whereas the baju melayu series was introduced as the Ismail, Ibrahim, Idris, Isyak and Ilyas collection.

As for baju kurung, he said, it was introduced as the Suri, Anggerik, Melati, Rose and Dahlia collection.

“For starters, we only produce 300 pairs of each pattern and colour of the series and we will add more to the collection in the near future if there is high demand for it.

“The collection that we offer is also suitable for the whole family, who want to pair with one another,” he said.

In a related matter, Shahren said they are also working with an outside company this year, which is the Elrah Exclusive brand involving a collection of baju melayu and kurtas.

He stated that the Juma’ani Pavilion is currently holding a massive stock-out sale for products with heritage elements with discounts reaching 80 to 90 per cent.

“This is because we have a new line of production under the Juma’ani Pavilion and we need space to include the new collection later,” he explained.
