
KABONG: Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir has expressed concern regarding the rising drug cases in the district.
He also thanked the Saratok District police for dealing with criminal cases in the district.
According to Saratok OCPD DSP Mordani Tanin, the cooperation of all levels of society was important to combat crime as they could be the eyes and ears of the law.
Apart from that, Mohd Chee was also concerned about the level of safety awareness among road users here and several suggestions were discussed to solve rectify this.
Police said they would hold a community policing and crime prevention programme in the district in future.
Also during the briefing, Mohd Chee announced an allocation of RM5,000 to PERKEP.
