KUCHING: Many Kuchingites were excited when they bumped into former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin or KJ in the city here.
It is believed that the now Hot FM radio presenter was in the city on Thursday for a working visit.
He was spotted jogging at the Kuching Waterfront and Darul Hana Bridge where locals did not miss the opportunity to take photographs with him.
The former Rembau MP also ate at Mom’s Laksa Satok at Jalan Haji Taha.
“Thanks to Khairy Jamaluddin for making time to have laksa at Mom’s Laksa.
“We also want to congratulate you on your appointment as a member of the Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club (JDT) board of directors.
“Hopefully, there is a chance to meet here again,” said Mom’s Laksa Satok in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, the owner of a car accessories shop known as Boss Michael and known for his tagline ‘Terus Sihat’, was also excited to meet Khairy at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) today morning.
“Morning gais, kali ini betul-betul terus sihat. Tengok Michael jumpa siapa di airport? (Morning all, this time is really about having good health. Look who Michael saw at the airport?),” he posted on his social media accounts while attaching a photo of him with Khairy.
