KUCHING: Kuching Sepak Takraw Association (PSTBK) will hold the Kuching Sepak Takraw President Cup 2017 competition at Dewan Telekom, Jalan Sultan Tengah, here, from Nov 17 to 19.
Chairman of tournament, Ziadan Leen said the competition (closed Kuching) is open to all residents or clubs in Kuching Division. According to him, the champions will receive RM2,500 cash, runner-up (RM1,500), third place (RM700) and fourth place (RM300). He said the tournament will be held on a league format at the group stage (subject to total number of teams participating) before switching to the knockout format at a later stage.
Each team will be charged RM100 for entry fee and the closing date of submitting entries is before or on November 15, at 5pm. The draw and team managers’ briefings will be held at Dewan Telekom Malaysia, Jalan Sultan Tengah, here, on November 16 at 4pm. “The organisers can amend or alter the schedule of the match in case of unforeseen circumstances and the decision is final.
