KUCHING: Congratulations to all teachers and students on a job well done in the Malaysian Higher Education (STPM) exams, said Adam Prakash Abdullah.

The Sarawak Teachers Union (STU) president added that the students had performed well in the 2021 STPM exams and the results also showed that those in the suburban and rural schools were also able to produce excellent students.

“Overall we feel that the teachers have prepared their students well despite the interruptions during the Movement Control Order (MCO).

“The students have also shown that hard work, determination and being persistent in their studies can be very rewarding,” Adam said.

On behalf of STU, he expressed his gratitude to the Sarawak government for the continuous support during the difficult times.

It was announced yesterday by Sarawak Education Department director Datuk Azhar Ahmad that the 2021 STPM results saw a total of 95 students from schools throughout Sarawak managed to garner a Cumulative Grade Point Average of (CGPA) of 4.00.
