KAPIT: Relentless heavy rain across several areas has triggered a landslide in front of Nanga Manap Batu longhouse, here yesterday (Jan 30).
The Song district police station which received a report from longhouse headman Timothy Asson, alerting them to the situation, promptly dispatched a team of officers to assess the scene.
Investigations revealed signs of landslides near the longhouse. Fortunately there were no casualties or severe structural damage.
