KUCHING: Members of the public are invited to witness a convoy of six decorated vehicles passing through the city on Sept 16.
Depending on the haze situation, the convoy of colourful and beautifully decorated vehicles will be passing through the city starting at 8.30pm.
The event is held in conjunction with the National-level Malaysia Day celebrations centred here.
The convoy will start from Kuching City South Council (MBKS) and will move along Bulatan Sri Aman (Padungan), Jalan Central Timur, Jalan Budaya, Jalan Badaruddin Traffic Light, St Joseph’s Cathedral, New Museum, Padang Merdeka, Post Office, then to Square Tower (Kuching waterfront), Main Bazaar, Jalan Abell, Jalan Pending before it finally ends at iCom Square.
Each decorated vehicle will depict the different phases of progress taking place in Malaysia starting from the 1960s era up to the current and future eras.
