LUNDU: Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan calls on local residents and visitors to always maintain cleanliness in the constituency for the common good.

According to him, the Tanjong Datu constituency has natural tourist attractions that have been further highlighted to outsiders through the visits of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah last September.

“We must work together to support the vision and mission of the Lundu District Council (MDL) in making Lundu a successful natural town by maintaining cleanliness together,” he said when officiating at the Zero Waste Tourism Programme organised by MDL at Pandan Beach here recently.

In addition, Azizul supports the idea of holding the programme annually and implementing it in other zones, namely Sampadi Zone and Sematan Zone, so that Tanjong Datu continues to attract visitors for leisure and to seek agricultural and seafood products.
