BAU: A suspect who was caught red-handed for gambling online using a smartphone was immediately arrested by police.

The arrest of the 24-year-old man took place at a fresh market at Taman Malihah Belatok while police were on patrol during ‘Ops Dadu Khas’ on Thursday (July 14).

“Upon inspection, they found the contents of the suspect’s smartphone including a top-up text, suspected to be a user ID for online gambling. Then the suspect was arrested for further action,” said the local police chief via a press statement yesterday.
