MIRI: A man died after he was rammed by a vehicle nearby a Chinese primary school at Jalan Tun Hussein Onn yesterday.
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said in the 2am incident, 21-year-old Kelvin Ho Ching Choong, fell off his motorcycle after a vehicle hit him while navigating along the road.
“He was hit by an unidentified vehicle which immediately sped off after,” he said.
Due to the impact of the crash, Ho landed on the road divider.
He died while receiving treatment at Bintulu Hospital at 6.30am.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
