BETONG: The rebranding and refurbishment of Fazzah’s Kitchen here with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) funding will have a positive impact on its business, says Datuk Zulfikri Osman.

The Mara deputy director-general (entrepreneurship) said rebranding was necessary to make the business more prominent.

“Of course, a business has to go through rebranding over time.

“In addition, it can also make the business look new, fresh and able to attract customers,” he told Suara Sarawak at Fazzah’s Kitchen on Friday (July 1).

Meanwhile, Fazzah’s Kitchen owner Dayang Nurfarahin Abang Muhamad Tahir thanked Maea for the assistance.

“Mara contributed RM210,000 under its Small and Medium Industry Loan Scheme.

“Previously, there were other aid from Mara so that we could expand this shop to two lots. We also managed to open a second branch in Sri Aman.

“Hopefully, Mara assistance continues for all entrepreneurs so that we can develop our business.”

Apart from that, she said Mara helped her business obtain halal certification – the first to do so among Bumiputera traders here. “Having this certificate increases customer confidence in us and our food and beverages.”
